A few hours after Liverpool beat Spurs 4-2 yesterday, Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez deleted all photos of him in the Liverpool uniform from his Instagram profile.
The club is now only mentioned on the profile pic and profile description.
Everyone immediately began speculating that Darwin was hinting at a possible transfer to another club, and some even saw this as the consquence Jurgen Klopp's summer departure - the coach leaves, the disappointed players leave as well, they say.
However, there is a much more likely explanation - Darwin is fed up with hate from Liverpool fans after wasting some amazing chances against Spurs. This is not the first time that the Uruguayan forward has been agressively criticised by his own fans after missing sitters - and it's no wonder Darwin just couldn't take it anymore.
