Liverpool 'monitoring' Leeds forward Summervile — Romano

“From what I’m hearing it’s true that Summerville is one of the players they [Liverpool] are monitoring," Fabrizio Romano said on the Here We Go podcast.

“They have sent their scouts [to watch Summerville] multiple times even before [the return of Michael] Edwards.”

Crysencio Summerville has scored 19 goals and provided nine assists in the Championship so far this season. Last term, when Leeds were in the Premier League, he managed only six goal contributions in 28 appearances (four goals and two assists).

The 22-year-old Dutchman operates on the left-hand side of attack, where Liverpool already have Gakpo and Diaz, with Darwin and Jota capable of playing there as well. He can play on the right wing, too, but his natural position is that of a left winger.
