'We were not good enough': Klopp analyses what went wrong v Everton

Liverpool were beaten 2-0 by Everton at Goodison Park. The Reds had better chances over the game but two set-pieces sealed three points for the Toffees.

“I am very disappointed. About a lot of things. We let it happen that it became the game Everton wanted,” Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports after the game.

“Two goals from set pieces. Everton are really strong from set pieces. We created a lot but didn’t score. Then second half, emotions, in a rush. Then the second goal, we just didn’t defend it well enough.

“They had free kick after free kick. We had the ball but they got the free kick. That's part of the story we were but we were not good enough.”
