Endo hails Anfield atmosphere

"The atmosphere was amazing," Wataru Endo said after Liverpool's clash with Man City. "Of course, I wanted to win for our fans, but the result was not too bad, I think.

Mac Allister agrees with Endo

Alexis Mac Allister told BBC Sport: "I note a lot of difference in how they [Liverpool fans] support here and the passion they have for their team and the city, there is nothing like it in England."

Klopp talks title race

"I don’t think I have ever been involved in a title race with three teams," Jurgen Klopp said, as quoted by Liverpool's official website.

"We have 10 games to play, so obviously nothing is decided. There are plenty of games. The next one in the league is Brighton at home, traditionally it is not our favourite opponent.

"The only thing I need for the moment, I would prefer to have 30 points between us and all the other things, but the realistic thing is are we really in that race from a performance point of view? [Against City] I saw a team that is in the right position, so now let’s see what we can do."

Souness unhappy with Salah

"Yesterday, when I looked at Salah coming on, Salah is not right. They have got to get these guys back to firing on all cylinders," Graeme Souness said on Talksport, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
