Mo Salah not included in Egypt squad

Mohamed Salah has not been included in Egypt's squad for their upcoming friendlies against New Zealand and Croatia or Tunisia.

The forward has recently recovered from a hamstring injury he picked up at the African Cup of Nations and relapsed in February.

The 31-year-old has returned to action against Sparta Prague this Thursday and is expected to feature against Man City today.

Liverpool previously asked Egypt to not call up Salah for the friendlies to allow him to concentrate on his full recovery. The Pharaohs have satisfied the Reds' request.
