Except that Trent would be pretty awful as a central midfielder there's another thing i just can't get how people think with all that Bradley Rb and Trent to midfield talk.

If Trent would become a full midfielder then we again would basically have only one Rb, Bradley. While we already got about 8 players that fights for 3 midfielder spots.

So do people want us to have 9 players fighting for one spot and only one rb?

Well said Christian. TAA has a great range of passes, but lacks the hard work & positional skill to be a top midfielder. For example, Endo does all the donkey work as per many others in the past, but TAA is miles away from being able to do that, whereas at FB he can see the picture and has space to move forward. What Bradley is doing, is showing defensive skill, and energy which isn't TAA strongest suit. Would rotate TAA and Bradley dependent on opposition and match situation, but fans asking for TAA to be cm don't understand team balance and, as you rightly say, we have 8 quality midfielders who are better than TAA in these areas. YNWA❤

I agree. Trent is better as an attacker. It seems marking is not his strong point in defense or in midfield. He is best in David Beckam position.

Not sure about Trent being awful as a CM. I thought he would struggle as well, because I didn't think he was quick enough on the turn, or hold the ball up well, but I reckon now having seen him in bursts in the midfield he's pretty good in that regard. His passing range is really good as well

christian you are a wise man, we have 2 good RB in Trent and bradley and I think it's an healthy competition. but for me ,I would choose Trent over Bradley anytime anyday

@siyowe. I'd say that it's a big possibility that Trent could be great out right with cover behind him. That's s better spot for him than centrally

@Montana. Yes Trent is definitely one of the best in the world with especially long passes. But that he isn't particularly good defensive means it is impossible to use him as a lone defensive midfielder since that guy is the most important guy on the pitch defensively. Then further up Trent had basically never played and i find it very hard to see that he could push anyone if the normal box to box midfielders to the bench. I just see it as healthy competition that we now finally got two good Rb,s so to remove Trent we would have the same problem we have had for years, no backup for the Rb spot
