Pressure is piling up on Thomas Tuchel at Bayern after the Bundesliga champions suffered back-to-back defeats against Bayer and Lazio.
Die Roten are five points behind Leverkusen in the Bundesliga standings. If Bayern decide to sack Tuchel, Bayer head coach Xabi Alonso would be the most-suited candidate for the job.
However, the Spaniard is also said to be the leading candidate to succeed Klopp at Liverpool after the end of the season. A Reds fan Laurie thinks that Alonso would choose Anfield if he were to pick between Liverpool and Bayern.
"If Bayern sack Tuchel, they’ll want Alonso, but I’m not worried about him choosing them over us, Laurie tweeted.
"If he leaves Leverkusen, he’s going to want a project where he knows he’ll get time and have the fans’ backing. He 100% gets that here, while Bayern go through a manager a season."
