Extent of Thiago's injury revealed – he may have played his last game for Liverpool

Thiago Alcantara came back from a long-term hip injury for a 10-minute cameo against Arsenal last weekend.

It was anything but a welcome return for the midfielder as he picked up a hamstring injury in the game.

It has now been reported by Neil Jones that his injury is quite a serious one and Thiago may have played his last game for the club.

An official confirmation on the midfielder's injury from the club is pending but with 14 games in the league season remaining, a serious injury pretty much runs out his contract with Liverpool.
