Mohamed Salah returns to Liverpool, will travel back to AFCON on one condition

Mohamed Salah will return to Liverpool to undergo treatment for his hamstring injury, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.

The 31-year-old picked up an injury in the AFCON game against Ghana.

"If he is fit before the final then probably he will go back to the AFCON", Klopp said after the Bournemouth win.

The final will be played on February 11, but there's no guarantee Egypt will qualify for the game without Salah.

They are currently second in the group with just two points after two games and will face group leaders Cape Verde in the third game.
