Calvin Ramsay recalled from Preston loan, Liverpool further plans revealed

Liverpool have confirmed that Calvin Ramsay's loan to Preston North End has been terminated.

The right-back only made two appearances for the Championship side during a spell that was disrupted by a serious injury.

According to The Athletic's James Pearce, Liverpool plan to send Ramsay out on another loan for the second half of the season. They are keen on him to play regularly somewhere.

The 20-year-old was signed for an initial fee of £4.2m back in June 2022. Since then, he has made a senior Scotland level but is yet to feature in the Premier League.
