"You just don’t know," Mo Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa has replied on Twitter in response to a post from French reporter Santi Aouna.
Aouna tweeted: "The Egyptian striker is open to leaving Liverpool this summer. "In the event of departure, Salah favours Spain."
This would have been an interesting case of the agent going to Twitter to shut down the rumours, as he previously did. But there's one strange thing here.
Aouna's tweet, to which Abbas Issa responded today (January 8), dates back to March 18 last year. Liverpool fans on Twitter are as baffled as anyone else by the agent finding and taking issue with an old tweet.
"Ramy comes with the clutch news," one fan joked. "Abbas what are you smoking?" another added.
Anyway, Mo's contract with Liverpool expires in 2025 and at the moment it's unlikely he leaves Anfield before that. He occasionally gets linked with a move to Saudi Arabia though, with the Reds reportedly rejecting a £150m bid for the Egyptian in the summer transfer window.
