Liverpool plan for Fabio Carvalho after RB Leipzig recall revealed (reliability: 5 stars)

Fabio Carvalho is expected to head out on loan for the second part of the season after Liverpool have recalled him from RB Leipzig, The Athletic's James Pearce reports.

The 20-year-old did not enjoy his time in Germany, starting just one Bundesliga game and appearing in eight more matches as a sub.

However, he's not likely to get a lot more time at Liverpool: last season, he only made two Premier League appearances since December.

Still, as he's considered a player with significant potential for the future, Liverpool will not consider selling Carvalho in January. Besides, his value has probably sunk after a poor spell at Leipzig.

Clubs in England are interested in taking Carvalho on loan for the second part of this campaign. Previously, he was linked with Fulham, the club that sold him to Liverpool for an initial £5m fee.
