'Still act like victims', 'Klopp should be charged': rival fans bemoan 'awful officiating' in Liverpool's favour

As hard as it may be for us to believe, fans of every other Premier League club believe that Liverpool are the referees' darlings.

Some of them believe that today's win over Crystal Palace is yet more proof of that due to a questionable red card shown to Jordan Ayew that sparked Liverpool's comeback.

It's not completely clear why they complain about it, though: Ayew was shown a second booking because his foul stopped a promising Liverpool counter-attack.

Still, the overwhelming belief is that the referees would rather give decisions in Liverpool's favour now that face more pressure from Jurgen Klopp. Make of that what you will.

Obi_Q, r/chelseafc: "Saw that coming. Liverpool play awful all game. Soft yellow on Ayew for his second yellow of the game. Liverpool score immediately after. You just knew it was coming."

sardonica96, r/reddevils: "Really feel for Palace here. Fans were great, the players were better than the opposition, but they’re let down by awful officiating."

Suhail, X: "Continue to expect decisions to go Liverpool’s way throughout the season because of what happened against Tottenham on 30th September…"

deathonline, r/Gunners: "Imagine being the least favoured team by refs going to Anfield against this Liverpool in two weeks, very hard to be not concerned. I am not going to get my hopes high."

utdcynical, X: "Klopp should be charged for manipulating referees. His weekly comments mean they’re constantly under pressure to give decisions in Liverpool’s favour"

JustGhostin, r/Gunners: "My Liverpool supporting friend is point blank refusing to admit they are getting an easy ride from the refs after Spurs."

ArtetaMyManager, r/Gunners: "It's funny Klopp can slag off the 4th official mid-game, no card. Bloody Scousers get every call in their favour but still act like victims of PGMOL"

utdrobbo, X: "Managers need to look into copying Klopp's treatment of the officials in the public setting because it bloody works & has for a long time now."

Furious-Cheetah-20, r/reddevils: "It's so funny when you watch Liverpool get countless jammy decisions that impact results and yet they cry whenever it happens against them or to us. F**k those hypocritical c**ts."
