Luis Diaz scored a late brace for Colombia to help his country defeat Brazil 2-1 on Thursday night.

Colombia was 1-0 down for most of the game before Diaz took matter into his own hands.

He scored goals in the 75th and 79th minute to help his side win the game.

In what had been a terrible few weeks for Luis Diaz and his family, the Liverpool winger's father was kidnapped by insurgents in Colombia and later released.

His father was in the stands to see Diaz complete the comeback and was in tears, as was the player himself.
