Shearer rules out Spurs as title contenders
Alan Shearer believes Tottenham are out of the 2023/24 Premier League title race after suffering two back-to-back defeats against Chelsea and Wolves.
Shearer said on The Rest is Football podcast: "To be beaten by two stoppage-time goals at Molineux was a cruel way for Tottenham to suffer their second defeat of the week, but I never expected them to challenge for the title anyway."

Mohamed Salah scored four goals in Egypt's 6-0 win over Dijbouti in a World Cup qualifier.
The Liverpool forward is now his country's best goalscorer in the World Cup qualifying with 15 goals. The previous record holder was Mohamed Aboutreika with 14 goals.
Bayern to start talks with Liverpool-linked Sane
According to Bild's Christian Falk, Liverpool retain interest in Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane. However, the German club are not keen on selling.
Moreover, they are expected to move to agree a new contract with Sane. The current deal expires in less than two years.
