Dutch FA technical director visits Kirkby

Nigel de Jong, the former Netherlands midfielder who is now working as the Dutch FA technical director, has made an unexpected visit to Liverpool's training base. He was spotted watching the Reds' training session in Jurgen Klopp's company.

De Jong's visit comes as Ryan Gravenberch appears to be sidelined from the senior and youth national sides after preferring to skip one international break to focus on gaining form with Liverpool. The Reds also have Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo as players of interest for the Dutch FA.
