Overall, Caoimhin Kelleher did a good job against Toulouse but he had a couple of moments where he perhaps could've done better. Firstly, his positioning for Toulouse's equaliser wasn't ideal and then, in the second half he gave the ball away clumsily.
While the Europa League is going to be Kelleher's competition this season, some fans suggest playing Adrian for at least a couple of games would have actually benefitted the Irishman.

The 36-year-old Spanish shot-stopper has a deal with Liverpool until the summer of 2024 but he actually doesn't play at all. The last time Adrian was in goal, was on July 30 2022, when he helped the Reds to the 3-1 win against Man City in the Community Shield.
