Calvin Ramsay has returned to Liverpool to recover from an injury, Preston head coach Ryan Lowe has confirmed.
“He’s still out and probably will be for another couple of months,” Lowe said, as quoted by This Is Anfield.
“At the moment he’s back at Liverpool doing his rehab there. When he’s fit and ready, he’ll be back with us.”
The defender is yet to feature for Preston after joining them on a season-long loan in the summer. He has also made just two appearances for Liverpool's senior team so far.
The Scotland international joined Liverpool from Aberdeen in the summer of 2022. Upon signing for Liverpool, he was diagnosed with a back injury which took time and patience to recover from.

Ramsay then picked up a season-ending knee injury in February last year. He was loaned out to Preston, where he sustained another injury. It was described as 'nothing major' at the time by Lowe but it looks like it's more serious than initially though.
