Darwin Nunez picked up two impressive assists for Uruguay in their 3-1 win over Chile.

Former Liverpool striker and Darwin's teammate at the international level Luis Suarez shared words of encouragement for his performance by commenting on Nunez's Instagram post.

Suarez wrote: “Way to go Darwin! Tremendous match and starting winning is always important! Let’s go up with everything that’s just started.”

Darwin has now taken over the number 9 shirt for Uruguay from Suarez as well, marking a change of guard for the national side.
