Ryan Gravenberch has pulled out of the Netherlands U21 squad for the upcoming internationals as he wants to focus on Liverpool.
The Dutch national side released the following statement, confirming the same:
"Ryan Gravenberch will not travel to Zeist this international match to join the Dutch Juniors.
"The Liverpool FC midfielder has indicated to KNVB coach Michael Reiziger that he wants to focus on his new club during the international match in September and will therefore not make himself available."
Gravenberch making his commitment to Liverpool very clear right from the off will be just what Jurgen Klopp would have been hoping for.
The Dutchman has had to wait on the bench for months at Bayern but makes his intentinos pretty clear just days after his move to the club.
