All too often, Thiago Alcantara was spotted helping the Uruguayan with the translation of the boss' instructions.
That's set to change now, judging by the video released by Liverpool's official YouTube channel after the first day of the pre-season.
He started by exchanging a few remarks with the boss before going over to Calvin Ramsay to approve of the youngster's new veneers: 'Wow! Wow, wow, wow! I like them!'
Later, on the training pitch, he visibly amused Joe Gomez by proclaiming: 'Finished holiday now, guys. Come on!'
Nunez understood that speaking no English was an issue and started taking classes, hoping that 'in a year and a half, minimum' he'll be able to talk freely. It seems that he's well on track to achieve this.
