Liverpool are in the process of letting players go and rebuilding a team, having already added a pretty good midfielder in the form of Alexis Mac Allister pretty early in the window.

Here are some of the other names linked to the Reds and how likely we think they are to end up at Liverpool.

Romeo Lavia had been a bright spark in Southampton's nightmare season and was being linked with Liverpool but as the Guardian reports, he is much more likely to join Arsenal at this stage.

Transfer probability: 10% to join Liverpool

Gabri Veiga is a name more recently associated with Liverpool but has already had enquiries made about his release clause (£34 million) at Celta Vigo. There will be competition, mainly from Chelsea, to sign him.

Transfer probability: 30% to join Liverpool

Micky van de Ven is Wolfsburg defender that has commented on Liverpool's interested in him saying: "I know that Liverpool followed me before. But at the moment I don’t know about anything. Whether I think Liverpool is a nice club? Of course!"

Transfer probability: 40% to join Liverpool

Ryan Gravenberch's name has come up consistently over the second half of last season, when it comes to Liverpool targets. He has not been a big part of Bayern's season in the past 12 months but the new boss Thomas Tuchel is adamant he wants to him.

Gravenberch's own stance on the matter is that he will try to force Bayern to sell him to Liverpool if assurances are not made about his involvement in the Tuchel project.

Manu Kone is another midfielder that has been heavily linked to Liverpool over the past few weeks but there have been contradictory reports about him, with some claiming talks have already been initiated and others reporting that he is not a hot target.

Khephren Thuram is major target for Liverpool and it won't be a big surprise to see the Reds land him as they must revamp their midfield. Both are affordable and have just had a great season at their clubs. These may be typical Liverpool transfers: effective, inexpensive and without much fuss.
