'I wanted to join': Juventus midfielder Rabiot opens up on love for Liverpool

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot claimed he admired Liverpool so much that he wanted to sign for the Reds.

“I loved Liverpool a lot because I was a bit fan of Steven Gerrard, who made me dream. And so therefore I followed the Reds," Rabiot told Tuttosport

“My other idol was Zinedine Zidane," the France superstar adds.

Liverpool have been linked with Rabiot in the past but a deal never really seemed like happening.

The 27-year-old is now set to stay in Turin after agreeing on a new contract with the Italian heavyweights.
