The Benfica midfielder also played a part in Lionel Messi's first goal in the game.

Such a brilliant performance has seen Fernandez force his way into Argentina's starting XI as seen in their 2-0 win against Poland on Wednesday night.

Some Liverpool fans on Twitter have been asking Jurgen Klopp to look the way of Fernandez to solve the midfield crisis at Anfield.
