Fabrizio Romano provides update on Naby Keita's future after another injury setback

Liverpool are not planning to sell Naby Keita in January, according to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.

"To sell players you always need the right proposals; at the moment, there are no official negotiations or bids yet so it’s still quiet," Romano told Caught Offside.

"I’m told that, despite speculation, they are not planning for Naby Keita to leave in January, as things stand."

Keita has suffered another injury setback and is yet to feature for the Reds this season since the Community Shield win over Man City.

The Guinean's contract expires in June, but there are no active contract talks between the club and the player.
