One player who can join Liverpool and 4 players who can leave in next 12 hours

The winter transfer window is moving into its final stretch and there are just around 12 hours remaining before the deadline.

Liverpool have already signed Luis Diaz on a long-term deal but they need to offload one non-homegrown player to register him in the squad for the Champions League.

That's why some transfer activity before the window slams shut can't be ruled out. Here we look at players who could join and leave the club in the next 12 hours.

Could join

According to Fabrizio Romano, the talks between Liverpool and Fulham are in their final stage, with Fulham accepting in principle a ₤5m bid.

Now, the player needs to decide whether he agrees to sign a long-term deal with Liverpool now and spend the rest of the season on loan at Fulham, or decides to run down his contract and make his next move in the summer.

Could leave

Phillips has made his desire to leave the club for more playing time quite clear, and he has been a wanted man this month.

The Reds have turned down two bids for him but they will not be standing in his way if the right offer arrives.

Origi has already been linked with a move as well, with Newcastle named among the potential suitors for his services.

Liverpool will need to free up a place in the squad for a non-homegrown player to register Luis Diaz, so Origi could be on the move for that reason.

The Japanese international wasn't on the list of players to be moved, he is the one most impacted by Diaz's imminent arrival.

Minamino has been decent when called upon this season, but the reports suggest that the right offer could convince LFC to sell. Still, it's been reported that the player himself wants to stay.

Karius has been confirmed as the 5th-choice keeper at the club and is just taking a spot in the squad for little reason at this point.

The Reds could just release Karius, who has 6 months left on his contract, to keep their forwards and still have room in the squad for Diaz.
