Steven Gerrard named Manager of the Year in Scotland after historic Rangers success

Steven Gerrard has been named the Scottish Football Writers' Association's Manager of the Year at the end of the 2020/21 season.

"I'm delighted to receive the award. I receive it collectively with my staff. I think that goes without saying because we are very much a team here," Gerrard said upon receiving the award.

"I think we have achieved the success we have this season as a team of staff and I thank all of you guys in the press for voting for me and I certainly cherish the award."

The Liverpool legend led Rangers to their first Scottish Premiership title in 10 years, and they took it by storm as they led Celtic by 20 points with 6 games to go.
