- The skipper called the centre-back 'a massive figure in our team' and 'one of the biggest characters I've ever shared a dressing room with' who he already misses.

- Dejan Lovren left Liverpool after six years at Anfield, having made 185 appearances and lifting the Premier League and the Champions League trophies.
