It didn't take long for Lovren and Salah to get back in touch after the Croat completed his transfer to Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg.
Zenit's club media asked Dejan to call his best pal Mo Salah on FaceTime - which he did. Much to Lovren's surprise, the Egyptian answered and the duo had the most hilarious conversation.
"Wow, what a nice haircut," Lovren began to which Salah turned on his usual savage self: "Thank you, it’s better than yours!"
Dejan then told Mo about the way the Russian fans welcomed him - of course, there was a bear.
"Listen, I just arrived, came out of the airport, I saw people who welcomed me... and behind I saw a bear. Brate, crazy!" Dejan explaining laughing.
"So, brate, I said ‘is this a zoo open, or not?’,” the Croat continued.
"[They said], ‘don’t worry, he’s normal, he’s friendly with people’!”
After a bit of chit-chat, Salah then produced more banter.
"You start training tomorrow?" Mo asked. Dejan confirmed.
"Are you the captain or not?" the Egyptian fired. 2-0 Salah.
Lovren, however, was quick to recover from this savage bit. After Mo said that his haircut was expensive, Dejan joked: "That’s why you left it long, because you’re this tight [on the budget]."

Either way, Dejan seems to be happy at St. Petersburg. And we still have plenty of Salah-Lovren bromance moments to enjoy. So, a win-win situation!
