"I think it’s fair to say that when the Germany job becomes available, it will belong to Jurgen if he wants it. He would be a popular choice because of what he achieved at Borussia Dortmund and for what he is now doing at Liverpool," Didi Hamann told the Mirror.
"To win the Champions League and the Premier League in successive seasons is an incredible achievement that confirms him as one of the world’s elite coaches. But Jurgen is still quite young. I think he thrives on working with players every single day. You can tell he loves it.
"I think he would be tempted by the chance to try international football at some stage – but that is still years away. Only being able to get on the training pitch once every three months would drive him absolutely crazy!
"It’s clear that Klopp feels at home at Liverpool – and that’s important to him."
Klopp has been linked with the German head coaching role despite having a Liverpool contract till 2024 - however, as Hamann said, we doubt the 53-year-old will leave Anfield so soon.
The Reds have won 4 trophies in the last 12 months but the manager will want to achieve more with this historic squad, and we don't think there's any chance he leaves before his contract expires.
