Victor Osimhen missed another penalty for Napoli, this time against Juventus. Wojciech Szczesny came the winner from the penalty duel, however, Napoli still managed to put the ball in the net after Szczesny's save.
Throughout his career, Victor Osimhen missed 6 penalties out of 19. The penalties missed were against Juventus, Bologna, Fiorentina, Liverpool, Montpellier and Beerschot.
If we take only the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons, Osimhen's stats look even worse: Nigerian scored only 4 penalties out of 8, that's a 50% chance for the goalkeeper to save if he sees Osimhen at the penalty spot.
That is a disturbing tendency for Napoli and their attacker. Perhaps, soon Osimhen will be taken from penalty duty in his club giving a chance to more skilled players at the art of penalty taking.
