Former Tottenham player Luka Modric expressed how deeply the Croatia national team has been affected by Ivan Perisic's ACL injury.
Quoted by the official Tottenham website, Modric said: "We are in contact. We have spoke to each other. It is a big blow for us. We know how much Ivan means to us"
"However, knowing his character, his habits, I believe he will return in the right way. It is difficult to say when the most important thing is that he returns healthy. There is no need to hurry; we will wait for him as long as necessary."
In the previous month, it was revealed that Ivan would probably miss the entire season due to a complicated Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in his right knee, which happened during non-contact training at Tottenham.
