Paul Pogba's football career in jeopardy as he faces four-year ban after B sample confirms positive drug test

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is in a tough spot with the risk of a four-year football ban looming. The France international hasn't played for Juventus since he was suspended due to a positive drug test. After being on the bench for a game, he got randomly tested after Juventus' win over Udinese on August 20.

Sadly, the results from a counter-analysis also came back positive, and Italy's national anti-doping tribunal is set to determine the charges. Pogba could face a ban of two to four years.

Pogba's representative, Rafaela Pimenta, stated, "We are waiting for the counter-analysis, and until then, we can't say anything. The certain thing is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break the rules."

On top of that, Juventus has some decisions to make regarding Pogba's contract, as he still has nearly three years left. His return to Juventus after leaving Man United last summer hasn't been smooth, with injuries and now this doping issue. Tough times for the midfielder.
