There are concerning reports from French football club OGC Nice about a player who is threatening to throw himself off the Magnan Bridge after a relationship breakup.
According to Nice-Matin, the player is standing on the 100-meter-high Magnan viaduct, located on the A8 motorway near Nice.
Firefighters, police, and a psychologist from the Ligue 1 club are currently on the scene, but the player's identity remains unconfirmed. However, it is believed to be Alexis Beka Beka.
In response to this situation, the club has cancelled its scheduled press conference with coach Francesco Farioli, as they are dealing with this crisis. Traffic has been affected, with a significant 5km traffic jam reported on this important route.
