Leonardo Bonucci takes legal action against Juventus over training conditions

Former Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is taking legal action against his former club. Bonucci, who spent most of his career at Juventus, terminated his contract in August and joined Union Berlin.

Reports suggest that Juventus told him he wasn't part of their plans due to 'technical reasons,' leading to separate training. The player was also not assigned a squad number.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Bonucci's lawyers are set to take legal action, seeking compensation for alleged inadequate training conditions and resulting professional and image damage.

Bonucci views this as a principled move, not a personal feud, standing up for players facing similar situations. Any proceeds from the action will be donated to charitable organizations.

The first is Neuroland, which supports families of children hospitalized in the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin. The second is Live Onlus, an organization that donates defibrillators to sports clubs and schools from the proceeds of equipment auctions featuring items from high-profile athletes.
