Neymar has thrown shade at Ligue 1 by suggesting his new home, the Saudi Pro League, is a better tournament overall.
Neymar said: "The Saudi league is great, it has great footballers. I don't know if it's not better than the French league."
The French league does have a reputation for being a 'farmer's league'. In fact, it's officially no longer one of the top 5 leagues in Europe.
It's still interesting how Neymar managed to assess the Saudi league's level without playing a single game as he's still nursing the injury.
