Leando Bonucci has signed for Union Berlin. The 36-year-old centre-back has reportedly joined the German side for free after leaving Juventus.
Unlike Juventus, Bonucci will play in the Champions League next season as Union will enter the competition for the first time in their history.
Just a few years ago, Union played in the second flight and Hertha Berlin were the no. 1 club in the German capital. However smart signings (unlike Hertha's burning money) changed their fortunes.
Bonucci may be long past his prime but he should bring Union experience upon their Champions League debut.
