Tottenham have announced the signing of defender Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg for a reported fee of £43 million.
The club released the following statement about the move:
"We are delighted to announce the signing of Micky van de Ven from VfL Wolfsburg, subject to international clearance and work permit.
"The defender has signed a contract with the Club that will run until 2029, and will wear the number 37 shirt."
Van de Ven had also been linked to Liverpool, but interest in him from the Reds cooled off towards the second half of the transfer window.
