Perhaps the most striking about it is how little clubs in LaLiga have spent compared to the rest.
Not for the first year, the Spanish league struggles to boost its profile and the poor clubs are really poor in LaLiga, in comparison with the Premier League.
But even the rich are struggling. Here's a glaring example of it: one third of LaLiga's entire spending has gone into Jude Bellingham's transfer to Real Madrid (€103m).
Barcelona's biggest outlay this summer was for Oriol Romeu -- slightly over €3m to get him from Girona.
Four clubs are yet to spend money on new arrivals while nine clubs have spent no more than €10m.
