It may sound strange, but according to CIES Observatory, among 12 players with the highest price tags, only 4 Premier League players are valued at €150m+.
They are Bukayo Saka (€200m), Gabriel Martinelli (€150m) from Arsenal and Erling Haaland (€250m), Phil Foden (€150m) from Manchester City.
Despite being the best football league in the world and spending the most amount of money on the transfer market in 2023/2024 season, half of the list is represented by players from La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
There are also players from two other top leagues. It is a young prospect Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and France star Kylian Mbappe from PSG (Ligue 1).
For now, Serie A players are absent from this rating. Rafael Leao is the closest player from this league to the €150m+ price tag. He is valued at €100m.
