Guglielmo Vicario has officially Tottenham Hotspur from Serie A side Empoli.
Spurs have reportedly paid around £17.2m for the 26-year-old goalkeeper.
Vicario said upon his arrival: "It's one of the best teams in England. I'd love to start quickly and join my teammates.
"For me, it's so exciting. I started my career at the bottom. My dream, to be at the top, it was so difficult. I had to do all the levels. I want to live my dream now."
Vicario also spoke about his style: "The keeper now has to find your free teammates to pass the ball, so long, short, medium passes. I think I can define myself as an attacking keeper."
Spurs would hope to find a proper Hugo Lloris replacement in Vicario after the Frenchman gave Spurs a solid 11 years.
Lloris remains at Spurs for the time being as he has a contract until 2024 but he has already expressed his desire to 'end the era'.
