Boubacar Kamara cut short his honeymoon to join the national team but didn't get any playing time

France midfielder Boubacar Kamara had a disappointing experience during the recent European Championship qualifiers. Despite having his honeymoon cut short to join the national team, Kamara did not get any playing time.

He was called up as a replacement for the injured Adrien Rabiot but remained on the bench throughout the matches against Gibraltar and Greece.

Kamara's partner, Coralie Porrovecchio, shared their journey on Instagram, including their hasty return from their honeymoon and Kamara with his luggage. And a short while later, she wrote: "I am not sure whether to laugh or cry."

Porrovecchio shared a picture on social media of the French Football Federation's statement confirming Kamara's arrival, accompanied by a white love heart. It is believed that the couple was already on a plane bound for Paris but had to get off and return to Marseille.

Although Kamara made the effort to join the squad, he did not get the opportunity to contribute on the field. France won both matches comfortably, but Kamara remained an unused substitute.
