UEFA have officially announced that the first-ever 'Finalissima' clash will take place this summer.
Euro 2020 champions Italy will face 2021 Copa America winners Argentina at the Wembley Stadium on Wednesday, June 1.
The agreement between UEFA and CONMEBOL states that there will be more editions of the game between their respective champions.
According to UEFA, 'Finalissima' is a one-off fixture, played over 90 minutes. There is no extra time and the game will go to penalties in the event of a draw.
