Lewandowski entourage believe Xavi 'forces player out of club'

Robert Lewandowski's entourage have considered his sub against Real Sociedad as the club's strategy to force his exit, reports CatRadio's Ramon Salmurri.

This is not the first time such reports emerge. It seems like the Pole's environment actually believe the club have started a campaign to offload the 35-year-old this summer.

Xavi revealed the Pole was angry with the change. However, the Barca boss explained that he needed fresh attackers who would press the opposition high.

Lewandowski left the pitch in the 76th minute after providing Ilkay Gundogan with a wonderful pre-assist.

The striker only intends to stay at Blaugrana next season. He has scored 24 goals and provided nine assists in 46 appearances this term.
