Vitor Roque agent: 'Xavi has given chances to Fermin, Cubarsi and Yamal but not to Roque. I can't explain it'

"The kid [Roque] has to work hard and wait for his chance, but there have already been a lot of games when he could have been given these minutes and a bigger role," Vitor Roque's agent, Andre Cury, has told RAC1.

"In the 300 minutes he has played, he has scored two goals, which is possibly the best rate in the team. Xavi has given chances to Fermin, Pau Cubarsi and Lamine Yamal, but not to Vitor Roque. I can't explain it," he added.

Well, this comparison barely makes sense. Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi prove to be generational talents while Fermin has mostly featured in games due to the injuries of key midfielders. The competition up front is more difficult, especially when there are Ferran Torres and Joao Felix waiting for their chances.

Besides, the 19-year-old has made two starting appearances since February – and he was among the worst Barca players on both occasions.
