Xavi names one midfielder at Barca who fully understands the FAST game, not Pedri

Pedri raced 50 yards to make a goal-saving tackle for Barca against Valencia but Xavi still believes Barca's best midfielder to cope with fast opponents is Fermin Lopez.

"I'm very happy for Fermín," Xavi said. "It was a match for him because of the way that Valencia play.

"He understands and occupies space very well. He can combine and score goals," the Barca fan added.

Fermin lifted more than two meters off the floor to head home his eighth goal of the season and become Barca's highest-scoring midfielder this season.

The young Spaniard is a perfect example of intense work ethic and the ruthlessness needed from a midfielder in front of goal.
