Barca believes a loan move to another Spanish club is the best way for Roque to adapt to life in the country and perform better in the future. 

Roque did not feature for Barca in their last game against Valencia and was an unused substitute in El Clasico as well. The youngster has only started 2 games since he joined Barca in December. 

Barcelona spent heavily to bring Roque from Brazil's Athletico Paranaense where he scored 21 goals last season. 

Why did Barcelona pay €61m for Vitor Roque if he doesn't play a minute in Barca's biggest game of spring 2024?

 is now set to be Barca's only out-and-out striker next season. This would also mean Ferran Torres doesn't leave as he could be a backup.

Barca did not hype him the press did. I was saying it then that the hype on this guy may backfire, when Vini first arrived at Real Madrid he has a similar situation in adapting, he went through a season with just two goals. 
the hype on Roque is too much and you don't expect him to arrive and bench Lewandowski immediately never! also I do not subscribe to a loan deal for him unless Barca wants to use that to free up wage bill for next summer

Lewy this season save for a few brilliant one off performances, has been bang average! Loaning out this dude because you trust a player who Will be 36 or 37 when next season ends is insane. Roque is ready to replace Lewy. He needs to be given more opportunities and Lewy should be made to recognize his days of 90 minutes all season long are OVER❗ We are not going anywhere next season❗ That's for certain.

Vini faced similar problem but he wasn’t loaned out was he? Madrid kept him,trusted him and helped him build his confidence. And now look at the level he’s playing at? What’s Barca doing? Because Xavi doesn’t like him, he wants to loan him out. A 65 million player? That’s a crazy decision 😡😡.
