Ansu Fati refusing to give up Barca future, 'watches every game'

Ansu Fati is refusing to give up on his future as an FC Barcelona player, Sport's Toni Juanmarti says.

Fati reportedly watches every game and is updated about everything that happens at Barcelona.

The player believes he can convince Xavi to give him another chance in preseason where he aims to perform at his best level.

Ansu wants to finish the season in the best possible way for Brighton and hopefully help them qualify for Europe. But he has no plans of staying in England with his sights set on reclaiming his number 10 shirt at Barca.

Asked about the possibility of Ansu staying at Brighton for one more season, their gaffer Roberto De Zerbi simply replied "I don't know."

Brighton may want to offload Fati as he is one of their best-paid players despite not playing many games due to injury and tactical reasons.

Ansu has only scored four goals this season in 28 games. But he's made just the nine starts in his loan spell in England.
