Ansu Fati gets 0 minutes v Man City – Roberto De Zerbi talks his future

"Ansu Fati is a big, big talent," Roberto De Zerbi told the media after Brighton's 4-0 loss to Manchester City.

"I don't know [whether Fati has a future at Brighton]. I have to speak with Tony [Bloom, the club owner], the sporting director, scouts and the recruitment team. Then I will speak to Ansu Fati," the Italian added.

Ansu Fati was an unused sub against the Citizens despite scoring against Pep Guardiola's side last time out.

Earlier, De Zerbi explained that the 21-year-old should work harder to compete for a starter spot. The Barca prodigy apparently hasn't improved much since then.

The forward has scored four goals and delivered one assist in 28 appearances for Brighton, mostly as an impact sub. He has played just 29 minutes in the Seagulls' last four matches.

Ansu Fati is expected to come back to Barcelona in the summer before being sold or loaned out again.
