"Today it's my pleasure to let you know that 

 will continue as the coach of the Barca first team," Barca president Joan Laporta has said in a Barcelona press conference. 

"We know that he had expressed that he would leave, but now I have the good news that we have spoken and that he has expressed his joy to continue at the helm of this project. 

"He's very ambitious," the Barca president added. 

Xavi, Laporta and Deco posed for a photograph where they held hands together to show the unity at the club. 

Xavi will now fulfil his contract by coaching Barca until the summer of 2025.

All we need is the good and progress of Barcelona. Whether Xavi is the coach or someone else, it doesn't matter to me, what matters is for him to do well. 

My problem is how Xavi's team plays, watch Arsenal play and you will fall inlove. Despite that Arteta built the team with young and hungry boys that wants to be on the limelight everyday. But here now we have some bunches of lazy players that should never have don the Barca shirt in any way.

Xavi is a wise man, but if he can stop complaining about the referees and VAR and make his team play better, then we can win any team with ease because we have the tools. 70% of Barca players are very lazy and inconsistent and incompetent.
